This deployment corresponds for the second time to Group 11 of the Air Force, based at the Air Base of Mor\u00f3n de la Frontera (OZP \/ LEMO), and is the forty-seventh rotation BAP47, since Spain committed, in a framework of agreement of peace, of the air defense of those territories that do not have their own means to carry it out, as is the case of countries such as Albania, Luxembourg, Iceland, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.<\/p>\n

The deployment will be made at Siauliai Air Base (SQQ \/ EYSA), in Lithuania, with six Eurofighter Typhoon C.16 units as the spearhead for surveillance, but, as insisted Ignacio Hern\u00e1ndez, head of Group 11, this It is a work that is done as a team. Therefore, the deployment is completed with a total of 130 soldiers, among which are 12 pilots, who have had the support of Ala 31 transport wing 15, for the transfer to Lithuanian lands. The twelve pilots, as well as the auxiliary personnel, have been carrying out test work on the ground in the simulators available to Wing 11 in their facilities, some of the most advanced in the world.<\/p>\n

Surveillance work will be carried out with real weapons, and aircraft will be intercepted in the event that these aircraft have not communicated with the control centers responsible for the area or operate without the mandatory mandatory flight plan.<\/p>\n

The units will move tomorrow morning, from the B.A. of Mor\u00f3n in direct flight, with the support of the German Air Force, in refueling tasks in flight, within the same framework of collaboration between European countries for the maintenance of peace.<\/p>\n
